My girlfriend and I have been wanting to try lunch at Monte Carlo for quite awhile. We went for lunch today and found it to be reasonably priced delicious food. Our waitress was excellent. U am looking forward to going there again soon. I am sure my husband would enjoy the food and atmosphere there. Good job at the Monte Carlo!

Very confused on the identity of this place. White cloth napkins and modern decor with pizza on cardboard and pasta in foil bowls. The server we had was pretty uninviting. "You want something to drink?" "You want your check now?" etc. This was after we had to catch the eye of one of the four staff members congregated around the computer in order to get seated. As far as the food, it was pretty uninspired and flavorless. Their "thick" crust pizza was thinner than any delivery joint and was without much seasoning. But as far as prices go, it was definitely on the cheaper side ($35 for three people). And yet...I still feel swindled...

Great range of food. Friendly service and a great guitar/ singer every Thursday at 6 in the summer. Not usually busy. Start coming while you can still get in.

We were disappointed in the food. My husband had the combo plate with lasagna, Alfredo, and chicken parmigiana. I had the Shrimp Scampi. The red sauce on the combo plate tasted burned. The chicken in the Parmigiana was tough. The Alfredo tasted like a boxed cheese sauce with very little cheese flavor and a lot of flour for thickener. The Shrimp Scampi had good garlic and pepper flavor but was very watery. Less liquid and the addition of some olive oil would have greatly improved it. The lemon mentioned in the menu description was not in evidence. The shrimp was a little over cooked.

Ate there and had the shrimp scampi and a meatball appetizer. Meatballs sauce was a bit bitter but not bad. Maybe a little more sugar to change the dish. Meatballs themselves were dense and tough, rolled too tight. Common novice mistake. As far as the shrimp scampi...the shrimp were tough and over cooked. There were six small shrimps in a mound of buttery linguine. 2 of those shrimp were not properly deveined which is off putting when eating a sauteed shrimp. The sauce was very buttery without enough acidity from the wine to balance it (not sure the dish actually was cooked with wine as it should be) and no lemon at all. Basically over buttered noodles with some parmesan and seasoning on top and six overcooked shrimp tossed on.
